MESA Official Liaisons

 
 

The following table shows those External Organizations with which Project MESA is authorised to liaise.

Requests for additions, or changes, to this list should be made through the relevant SSG or TSG chairman who sends an authorization request for liaison, that the MESA Project officer forwards to the OPs for agreement.

According to MESA Technical Working Procedures, annex F, the following process shall be used in order for the SSG, TSG, WG and Ad Hoc groups to gain SC approval to liaise with an external organization, through the OP’s. The Chairman, or Vice Chairman at the Chairman’s direction, shall send a request to the MESA Secretariat containing the following information (download template):

CDG

The CDMA Development Group supports CDMA technology, particularly the two dominant ITU-defined IMT-2000 standards, cdma2000® and W-CDMA. Contributions will be at the System Requirement Level similar to the CDG's contributions to 3GPP2 development, for example.

POMPEI Project Consortium

POMPEI Project aims at developing an integrated architecture and a mobile applications suite for advanced services, to assist mobile teams of safety/security and emergency workers in crisis management and response through the first moments during a natural or man-made disaster situation.

Software Defined Radio Forum (SDRF)
The Software Defined Radio Forum is dedicated to promoting the development, deployment and use of software defined radio technologies for advanced wireless systems. SDR technologies provide software control of a variety of modulation, interference management and capacity enhancement techniques over a broad frequency spectrum (wide and narrow band), while ensuring secure communications management.
TETRA MOU Association The TETRA Association addresses the needs of the professional mobile radio user for group based digital mobile communications. The TETRA technology provides excellent high functionality voice communications. TETRA technology also provides mobile data capabilities up to 28.8kbit/s today and up to 400kbit/s with TETRA Release 2 which is due by the end of 2005.
